Cross Country is a Fall Diocesan Sport. Fall Sports Registration is in May each year.

This is a new program in 2023. No prior running experience is required. This is a good sport for those just looking to get kids moving up to and including those competitive runners looking to win races.

Practices begin in early August and are held 3 times per week. Most Saint Andrew Cross Country practices will be held at Thompson Park with other locations possible to diversify the running experience. Meets are held on various days starting at the end of August and ending in October and are hosted at local Catholic grade and high schools. Typically, there will be 6-7 meets in a season. 4th and 5th graders race 1 mile, 7th and 8th graders race miles while 6th graders can choose either race.
